Jacqui: since my first print I was hooked. Ths smell of the ink, the magical transformation from drawn lines in aquatint or a soft ground. Creating a final image by painting on a metal plate bitten with an acid to translate an image on paper can be a challenge. My prints are usually landscape/nature inspired and representational printed in small editions. I mostly make etchings although I love using lino or wood. I am inspired by Japanese art also any printmakers who push the extemes of creative techniques.
I teach throughout the year in my studio/workshop and offer printmaking workshops.
